Migration and Diaspora
27 May 2022
About This Event
Perhaps the most important form of people-to-people links between countries is migration. There is a significant opportunity for Australia and Korea to expand the two-way flow of skilled migrants, seasonal workers, holidaymakers, and others across their borders.
Whether as students, professional workers, or otherwise, migrants deepen relationships between countries by emphasising similarities and encouraging collaboration. This closed-door roundtable focused on ways that the migration aspect of the Australia-Korea relationship can be deepened and enhanced through a discussion of the actual impacts of government policies in this area.
